Joshua Wilson 00:00:00 All right. So we've done all this work. We've optimized our LinkedIn and we're putting content out there. How do we know we're doing it well. Like how do you how do you measure your success. How do you measure the ROI of my time and type in with my fat fingers? Right. How do you know you're doing it good on LinkedIn.

Seth Farbman 00:00:17 Gosh, that is the those are the three letters I get asked most often about ROI. and the answer is really ROI or success, as you say, means different things to different people. Anybody who has heard me speak at a conference knows that I always quote Tony Shay. he was the CEO of Zappos, and he said something to me once. He said, happiness means different things to different people. And so if you're speaking to a CEO versus a CFO versus general counsel, they all have their definition of of happiness or success because their roles are different. So when it comes to LinkedIn and CEOs that we work with or speak with, their definition of, of success or ROI can mean different things.

Seth Farbman 00:00:59 So it could be where there's a CEO who's looking to raise money and we're working with him, and then he walks into an investment bankers office and he's trying to raise 15, $20 million. And he starts his spiel and the guy says, stop. I've been watching your post for the last six months, John, I know all about your story. Tell me what I don't know. And that's like golden. You know, the fact that his story was organically told for him. other ROI could be for a CEO who goes to a conference and historically has had to, like, walk up to strangers, introduce himself, pitch. And now he's at a conference and strangers are walking up to him and say, hey, you look really familiar. I love what you're doing on LinkedIn. I love your content. and then it goes all the way to the other side of the gamut where it could help with liquidity, you know, stock price. So everybody has to figure out what their definition of ROI is.

Seth Farbman 00:01:51 But I'd venture to say, whatever your goals are, if done right, LinkedIn can help you get there.
